Mr. Kosaku Maeda, an advisor at JCIC-Heritage and Professor Emeritus of Wako University, passed away on October 11 after a long illness. We would like to once again express our respect for his great achievements in research and protection of overseas cultural heritage, including Afghanistan. It is with deep gratitude that we remember his guidance over the years since the establishment of the JCIC-Heritage.
